UBSport scholar Tommy Langford triumphed in his senior England boxing debut in front of a crowd of thousands at an Amateur Boxing International event.

The first edition of the new AU termly newsletter 'The Pride' is now available, covering a range of UBSport successes from across the term. 

The Great Britain and Northern Ireland team enjoyed record-breaking success at the Spar European Cross Country Championships yesterday – with help from six University of Birmingham Sport related athletes.

UBSport will host a special showpiece game for the record-breaking attempt to stage the largest-ever synchronised football match on Saturday.

Saturday saw the University of Birmingham Athletics Club bring their total number of qualifiers for the European Cross Country Championships to an almighty five. 

This months winner is Sara Treacy who won the Lotto CrossCup International race in Belgium at the beginning of the month, and then stormed to victory at the Irish Intercounty Cross County Championships to make it 3 Noindividual wins out of 3 this season.
