The University of Birmingham Equestrian Club consists of 30 members and gives riders of a reasonably competitive standard the opportunity to improve their abilities and compete against other Universities. The club receives training in both Dressage and Show jumping from professionals within these disciplines. Each year we send an A and B team to compete in the BUCS league competitions against other Universities in the area, with the potential to qualify for the nationals at the end of the season. First round competitions consist of a dressage test at novice standard and the show jumping is no higher than 1m.
