Dodgeball is a sport for everyone, from sport newbies to fanatics. Dodge, dip, duck, dive and dodge your way to medals, or just play for fun, it's up to you! Dodgeball is a growing sport that is played worldwide, the inaugural World Cup was held in Manchester in 2016. Lions Dodgeball has enjoyed great success in numerous leagues and opens with its four men's teams and three women's teams. Teams are made up of six people, with games lasting five "frames" that are three minutes long each. The objective is to have the most players left at the end. There are international trials held every year, meaning there's the chance to play for your country, as eleven of our squad members currently do! We're a really friendly and growing club, with lots of socials; from the weekly pub quiz at The Pear in Selly, to Sports Nights at the Guild, to sober socials like meals out. Anyone interested is welcome to come along to a session and give it a go; we love having new members. So get some balls and come play!
