The Taekwondo club at the University of Birmingham has been going for many years attracting a broad range of members from different sporting backgrounds. We are open to everyone whether you have experience or not in Taekwondo or any other martial art! Our sessions throughout the term focus on WTF style Taekwondo but we also accommodate ITF and other styles too. We work on fitness, balance, core strength, agility, speed and more in every session! This is achieved through drills on kicking pads, practicing traditional patterns and combat style sparring. Come and give a couple of sessions a try and see the benefits of even just trying out exercises; you'll get stronger, fitter and faster whilst learning an Olympic sport!
