Greatest coaching achievement: Since becoming head badminton coach at the University of Birmingham in 1998, the University badminton team has won 70 British Universities individual & team medals including 5 team golds and 8 individual singles golds.
Likes: home grilled steak & a good bottle of red followed by a creme brulee, the All England Badminton Championships, playing golf in Scotland.
Hobbies and other interests: family, watching sport, music, playing the piano, theatre, dining out, travel & holidays.
