Aports played: All sports at school, played county schoolboy cricket at U13, U15 & U19 for Staffordshire, as well as football for Wolverhampton schoolboys at U13 & U17 , played county hockey at all junior and senior levels, as well as Midlands at senior & u21 level, and national league for Cannock.
Greatest sporting achievement: Representing Midlands region mens team in final at last regional tournament.
Greatest coaching achievement: Winning three national titles, over four year period, with one age group of lads at Cannock HC.
Most memorable occasion in sport: Getting up at 4pm to watch Steve Redgrave win an incredible 5th Olympic Gold, at Sydney, as it shows such strength of character and dedication to achieve ambition.
Likes: Spending time with my family
Dislikes: People who drive in the middle lane of the motorway, when they can move over.
Hobbies and interests: Sport
Person who most influenced your career: My Father as he was always supportive to me as a youngster.
Favourite ground or stadium: Amstelveen Stadium, Amsterdam, gives such an awesome experience and atmosphere.
Last book read: Peter Kay autobiography
Favourite movie: Gladiator
Favourite music: Il Divo
The best thing about playing sport and studying at UoB: The commitment and dedication of the Athletes I coach, and they are a great bunch who make coaching enjoyable.
