Head coach (Men): Steve Floyd e: S.P.Floyd@bham.ac.uk Steve has been the men's head hockey coach at UBSport since 2010 His greatest coaching achievements to have been leading England Men U16s to a European silver medal and recently as head coach to  England U17 Girls at the UK School Games again taking silver. Head coach (Women): Phil Gooderham e: p.gooderham@bham.ac.uk Phil has been the women's head hockey coach at UBSport since 2005 His greatest sporting achievement was representing Midlands region men's team in final at last regional tournament His greatest coaching achievement to date was winning three national titles, over four year period, with one age group of lads at Cannock HC. Introduction to the club:
UOBHC has approximately 160 members (ranging from Olympic Internationals to students who play purely for enjoyment) and run 8 teams, 4 men and 4 ladies. Each team plays in the highest possible BUCS league with the 1st teams in the North Premier. On Saturdays the Ladies 1st team recently gained promotion to EHL National Premier League while the Mens 1s played in EHL National West. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams all play in their respective Midlands leagues and year  in, year out challenge for the top 3 spots.

Recent successes:

• 2010/11 – Ladies 1s BUCS Champions for 2nd successive year

• 2010/11 – Mens 4s win BUCS Conference Cup and Midlands Premier Champions

• 2010/11 – Ladies 3s win BUCS Conference Cup, 3rd year in a row Birmingham have won the trophy
• 2010/11 – Mens 2s win BUCS Mindlands 1A for third year in a row
• 2010/11 – Ladies 2s finalists in England Hockey Second XI Cup
• 2010/11 – Mens 1s 5th in National League West

All training occurs on 2 international standard water based pitches are the Bournbrook, on the University campus.

• Susie Gilbert shortlisted for World Player of the Year, winning bronze for England at European Championships and World Champions Trophy
• Alice Sharp winning John Higgins UK Young Athlete of the year.
• 10 Individuals playing in U21 European Championships
