The University of Birmingham Sport (UBSport) ladies indoor hockey team achieved fantastic success in the month of January, on both the domestic and national stage after winning promotion to the Premier Division and seeing some of their players compete for their international sides

The University of Birmingham Sport (UBSport) Athletics and Cross Country team continued their great tradition of stunning performances at the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Cross Country Championships, picking up two individual golds, two team silver medals and a team bronze.

January’s Performance of the Month goes to Jonny Hay (first year Chemistry) for an exceptional performance at the Great Edinburgh Cross Country in January.

On Saturday, February 4, some of the U.K.’s finest university long-distance runners will compete at the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Cross Country Championships held in Blackweir Fields, Cardiff.

Premier League Squash was back for the first time in 2012, as the University of Birmingham team took on Mercedes Benz Nottingham at the Munrow Sports Centre squash courts.
