Try Sport - give it a go

If you’ve always wanted to try a sport but have never got round to it, or left a sport years ago and fancy picking it up again, then Try Sport courses could be just for you!


Try Sport courses are led by qualified coaches and focus on building your skills, getting active and having fun!

Try Sport offers 10 week courses in a variety of sports including: tennis, volleyball, self-defence, weightlifting, swimming and golf. Not sure which sport you'd like to try? Read all the course descriptions here.

The summer courses run from Monday April 28 to Sunday June 22, 2014.

Please note, there will be no classes on Monday May 5 or Monday May 26, 2014.

How to book

Choose which course you would like to attend and book online.

To book online you will need your pin number (this should have been sent to you via email when you joined). When you have logged on, select the 'Try Sport' option and book your course!


Book at reception in the Munrow Sports Centre. Please note, you will need your ID card when booking.



Terms and conditions

Refunds will only be given if you have a valid doctor’s note that exempts you from physical activity during your course.
