Sports Performance Awards

University of Birmingham is pleased to announce 20 brand new ‘Sports Performance Awards’ which are now open for application. These awards are available to all incoming applicants who have competed at a county level and above within their sport (or equivalent thereof).  Ideally individuals would become valuable and influential members of the first team within any of UBSport's sports clubs. Our clubs operate by the mantra of ‘Playing with Pride’ which has seen the University regularly finish in the top 3 institutions each year within the BUCS (British University and Colleges Sport) championship, whilst maintaining our excellent academic standings.

Each successful applicant will receive an award to the value of £1,000 in services a year, for the 3 years of their study, dependant on upholding a minimum of 2:1 academic progression. All applicants should be applying for a full-time undergraduate programme and starting their course in September 2014.

All interested applicants who have received offers to study at the University should complete the sports performance award application form and return to the Sports Scholarships department by post by no later than Wednesday 7th May, 2014.
