FA Step into Sport Programme

The programme involves Universities working with local FA’s, County Sports Partnerships, FA Charter Standard Clubs, to help place students alongside existing qualified club personnel to develop their skills in a number of areas.

• An ideal way to gain qualifications and experience from being a part of a community football development programme;

• Gain confidence and new skills that employers value;

• Improve your social network, community links and meet new people.

Local clubs are looking for Coaches and Team Managers, the clubs can provide training, mentoring and funding for qualification within the UBSport coaching/mentoring scheme:

Volunteering in Rugby League

The RFL in partnership with Student Rugby League and the young volunteer’s organisation 'V' are developing new exciting volunteer opportunities within schools and clubs. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience, officials and/or coaching qualifications.
